Nourish Africa
Nourish Africa is my passion project. I have been working with members of the Botswana government to plant drip irrigation vegetable gardens and build schools around the mines.
While the men work in the mines, the women will be able to earn their own income and be empowered by learning agriculture and creating a sustainable food source for the miners and their families.
Employment positions and training facilities will be made for horticulture, cooking as well as teaching from within the community to teach and care for children ages 0-12 and feed the families lunch daily.
Our aim to create an environment where the entire family can sit together for a healthy meal every day and create a safe environment for children to learn and play.
Not only does this increase nutrition for the entire family, reducing sick days and increasing productivity, but it assists in nurturing the family unit.
Quality nutrition and a stable home environment has been shown to increase a child’s IQ by up to 30 points.
We are building our next generation of leaders in a loving home with delicious meals and quality family time.
We are currently in the funding stages and are hoping to launch this incredible initiative soon.
